Yesterday, Apple formally released the latest updated software for OS X, 10.8.3, through the Mac App Store. The update isn’t a major one, to be sure, but it does bring a variety of small updates with it, including:
- Redemption of iTunes gift cards in the Mac App Store using the Mac’s built-in camera
- Boot Camp support for Windows 8
- Boot Camp support for 3TB hard drives
- Fixes for URL-based app crashes, Logic Pro issues, and audio issues on 2011 Macs
- The latest version of Safari, 6.0.3
For the full rundown of included fixes and features, check out the Apple knowledge base article here. Honestly? I’m probably most excited about the fix for iMessages showing up out of order!Image may be NSFW.
